A same day move or what is referred to as the last minute move has its advantages and disadvantages. So before you decide to have a same day move, it is of the essence to weigh its pros and cons. Only then can you make a prudent choice when the time comes to decide if you are having a same day move or the traditional removal method.   Advantages of a same day move   The most obvious advantage of a same day move is that it does not require a lot of time. With a same day move, you can leave your old flat and relocate to your new flat in less than 24 hours. That is certainly expeditious given the fact that moving is a rigorous and time-consuming activity.   A same day move is also advantageous for urgent situations. For instance, you need to immediately move to another place for a long-term work assignment. You will have not enough time for a traditional removal unless you designate someone else to watch over the removal process for you. But for urgent removals, the proper choice is a same day move because not only will it be speedy but you will be there to personally supervise the move.   Drawbacks of a same day move   There are also disadvantages of a same day move. Since this is a one-day move, it is to be expected that the move will not be perfect. It will be more stressful since time is limited. Everything will have to be done in a faster pace. This also means that there is very minimal time for preparation. There might be errors in the labelling of boxes, the proper packaging of fragile materials, and the sorting out of valuable items.
