Finally, you got the keys to your new house. Excited? Wait until you had trouble of the transition period.
Moving from one house to another is not only physically stressful but can be emotionally challenging also. You have to undergo almost endless packing of your things. You have to carry all these things and load to the truck. You have to drive to the new place. You have to unload your things and unpack the boxes one by one. You have to arrange your things in the house and make the house look like brand new.
Aside from that, emotional torture is ready to attack you. There are friends to leave and good neighbors to say goodbye to. Worse, your kids might be departed from the place close to them-the park, the streets, the familiar neighbors, and friends.
These physical and emotional challenges will at least be lighter if you are prepared for the move.
For example, you can pack your things at least a month before the moving date. Doing this will help you have a less strenuous moving. It's smarter to pack things early too and that will help you do other moving necessities like renting a truck or planning for your moving day.
You may also prepare a farewell party for some neighbors you'll miss the most. Giving them your new address and contact number there will make way for your connection anytime and anywhere you are.
Are you ready to move? You should be ready whether you like it or not so you better just prepare and ready yourself. It's the best you can do for everyone in the family.
