Prior to the move, make sure that your pets will be safe from any danger. There are actually several dangers that you may overlook, examples of this is the noise caused by the strangers during the days of moving. Your pets may panic and may cause them to run out. So, the best thing that you can do is to place them in a safe place such as in one of your cleaned rooms.
 
Since you will be busy for sure, you better update the address stated in your pets' tag including your phone number. You may also include the address and phone number of their current veterinarian so he can be contacted in case of emergency.
 
Meanwhile, during the move make sure not to feed your pets three hours before your departure. To ensure their security during the travel, you better place them in pets' carrier too. At first they won't like it so you should make them familiar with it before you leave.
