Some of the items that should be in your essential box are small but very important items like toilet paper, soap, shampoo, some table cloths and face and bath towels, cleaning materials like rags and some all-purpose cleaner, plates, glasses / mugs, spoons and forks for the each member of the family, a couple of snacks, ingredients for easy pasta, a pot and pan for cooking, instant coffee a small oven toaster, beverages and drinks, knife and scissors, flashlights, candles and matches, garbage bags, a small tool kit with the basic tools, radio, and any important documents related to your move and those that can give some basic information. If you have some extra time, you can opt to have an essentials box for each room of for each member of the family, but time constraints may prevent you from doing so.
