Preparing Your Furniture for the Moving Stage
Moving can be easy if you only have few things. But what if you have so many things to be moved, say some pieces of furniture? It will surely be difficult and it might just be so stressful. But by proper preparation, you can always make sure that you'll have hassle-free and successful furniture moving.

Good thing, there are things you can do to properly prepare your furniture for the moving. Here are some tips for that:

·       Schedule your packing on the days when there is no interruption. Weekends can be the best packing schedule considering that people usually don't work on a weekday. Children have no schooling as well. That means they can help with packing the furniture.
·       Disassemble furniture if they can be disassembled. It will be easier for you to move furniture when they are disassembled.
·       Find the furniture's original packaging boxes. If you still have these, then better put them in their original boxes.
·       Properly wrap the furniture pieces. Furniture pieces are delicate especially if these were made from wood. Make sure to use bubble wraps or clothes before putting them in a box to ensure better protection.
·       Wrap the edges of the furniture with carton or bubble wraps. Those furniture pieces that can't be disassembled, simply wrap the edges with bubble wraps, cartons, or clothes. These edges are usually more exposed to scratches. Other parts don't need special treatment anymore, only the edges.

After packing, the loading will be your next problem. Better don't think of that just yet and concentrate on packing your furniture pieces first.
